Title: Possible political action?
Post by: Rev. Gary (revgms) on September 01, 2011, 12:14:31 PM
There is a movement to get Elizabeth Warren to run for Senate in MA. I know we are not political but this Dude is what I would call the real deal, a person of the people and thurrah. Is she some one we Dudes could support? Openly?

Just asking. I dig this lady dudes style mang, wish I were still a MA resident now, so I could vote for her.

Have you seen some of the people here? Most know who "the Situation" is, but not the capitol of their own state. I fear they are right, we are becoming an idiocracy.

I was up around 3 or in the morning, as I tend to do, and was watch CBS News up to the Minute. They had a story come on that gave me a laugh for a solid 5 minutes. Apparently Abercrombie and Fitch actually sent a letter to the situation asking him to stop wearing their brand because it reflects badly on them. At the end of the letter they invited the rest of the cast to do the same.

So what about her is particularly Dude like?

She is fearless in the face of human paraquats, and she stands up to the big Lebowskis out there. While not her self engaging in the kind of mud slinging that goes on in Washington.

And that Abercrombie thing was priceless. I honestly had no clue what people were talking about when they mentioned the "situation". When I finally asked and subsequently watched maybe a minute of that show, all my faith in American entertainment died. It was as bad as the time the the Top Gear guys were in the south with red necks throwing stones at them. That reminds me, I would like to thank you Brits for the BBC, tell ya what you can have Fox News. Fair trade?
