Love this. It reminds me of the stamps we had for "blueys" in the forces. They would be similar to the sketch above but somewhat more risqu?! :)

Hobbes had it all figured out.

There's a syndicated comic now called "Frazz".  I truly believe that the artist/authors intent is to show you what Calvin would be as a grownup.  Still has the childhood innocence, but with a mentoring role to the kids at the school he works in.

See now I'm curious as to what he was planning to make there.

Sounds like some sort of Flour based mortar bomb to me.
