Title: New post on Peter Merel's "Unlocking The Tao": Instant Enlightenment
Post by: Peter Merel on July 27, 2011, 10:07:26 PM
Lao Tzu, Chuang Tzu, Phil Dick and Zhaozhu tag team Plato, Carl Sagan, the Wachowskis and Jill Bolte Taylor.
Refereed by the always four dimensional MC Escher.

It's up now on unlocktao.com. If this don't bust your Black Iron Prison nothing will!

Well I kind of bowl. And I have to say that the enlightenment post has added to my appreciation of bowling. The moment of choice is very clear to a bowler. There is nothing else in the game.

But the game I play most is Go. It's actually a lot like bowling, similar sounds, similar surface, and the moment of choice too. But so much more intimate - you can't really embrace someone's soul in bowling the way you can in Go.

The Dude would make a fine Go player. He has a genuine feel for the non-locality of events. Which makes me think, y'know, a sequel could be a fine thing ...

I tried so hard to read that...It seems like great and valuable information, but it's way beyond my ability or education to follow.

Go looks like a complicated game there dude...a lotta ins...lotta outs...a lot of strands to keep in old duders heads. Might have liked Go when I was a young Go Getter Little Urban Achiever, but anymore dude I just want to mellow about and not get my thinking all uptight. Bowling seems to fit the bill for me dude. You know...strikes and gutters...maybe an oat soda or two with friends...our troubles are over dude.

Interesting idea there Quaker Dude...maybe if we ask Peter Merel real nice like, perhaps he can translate his Unlocking the Tao into the parlance of our times? You know...nomenclature dudes can get our minds around without getting our thinking all uptight.
Gotta remember dudes like to take er easy...soak in a bubble bath...listen to whale sounds...sip on a white russian...maybe smoke a J...and unwind. Maybe go bowling later. Enlightenment?...what do we need that for dude? I mean...what's in it for a dude?
