I don't know if I really would want to perform this for anyone ..... I have never been married and it seems to me a wiser choice to not get hitched...... finacially...... ahhh ...... I don't think I could do it ..... it's like a sentence to establishment thinking to me...... I don't know Dudes.
I agree, but it is not the only way to look at it.
Been married for 17 years, have a twelve yo, and yeah it is hard, especially in the wallet and footloose department. But in other ways of looking at it, the motivation it gives one to achieve enough to support a small piece of our ever growing humanity is nominal, and not selfish, if one is a family Dude. The tribe needs to be replenished, and tension needs to be maintained, do you really want only non-Dudes handling that?
We need conception and little Dudes to keep this durned human comedy going.
A wise choice in partners yields two Dudes working together in an extended fashion, or even a relationship like the Dude and Walter had, they were very much like a married couple.
The little dude thing is a temporary arrangement, and possibly an amusing one, ever watch a kid while you are stoned, they are hilarious. I think the kid digs having a Dude dad too, sometimes I wonder who is laughing more at the other.
My dad was a hippie, he called me his "liberal experiment", and look where I am today, broke and happy, over worked and totally relaxed. One can be a family Dude.
That said, there is your way, there is my way, but there is no the way.
But hey, that's like just my opinion Dude.
Namaste
Getting married is just like having a permenint bowling partner, and sticking together through gutter balls or strikes. but hey that's like just my opinion
It's all about the yutes.
Other than that I don't see much advantage.
Marriage is about starting a family IMHO.
Can't really understand getting married in order to just share a Pomeranian.
Well I guess a tax advantage perhaps.
But if it weren't for kids I'd rather just go to every single Bike rally and music festival in the US all summer long. I love my wife but that is no reason to get hitched.
