Peace to the Dudes!
I recently received my Dudeist Ordination pack
in the mail. I went to put the Ord Cert in a standard
A4 frame, but it seems to not fit at the top of the Cert
by about 1 cm (yes, I know I am using the metric system).
Just wondering if it would fit properly in an a3 frame or if that
would be too big? Or would it be highly undudely to cut off the
extra cm?

Australia. :)
I hope someone answers, but from another Aussie dude I just wanted to say G'day Dude!
an A3 is going to be pretty big. Maybe if you found one with matting in the center?
My other suggestion would be to order a frame from a US source. The certificate is standard letter size here in the US (216mm x 279mm or 8.5in x 11in) and none of the A frame sizes are really around that.
I don't know if they ship to Australia, but this is what I have mine in - http://www.target.com/Document-Frame-Black-Goldtone-8-5x11/dp/B000GLO400/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&keywords=document%20frame&searchSize=30&searchView=grid5&searchNodeID=1038576%7C1287991011&searchPage=1&fromGsearch=true&sr=1-1&qid=1305987091&rh=&searchBinNameList=subjectbin%2Cprice%2Ctarget_com_primary_color-bin%2Ctarget_com_size-bin%2Ctarget_com_brand-bin&searchRank=target104545&frombrowse=0
So I actually looked in to how much it would cost to ship a frame to Australia this morning.....I think it'd be cheaper to find one on EBbay!!! Holy Walter, Dudes! It would have cost like 35 dollars to ship a 10 dollar frame!
Yeah, given a rough guide:
A4 is your standard peice of paper, as found in a common or garden printer.
A5 is half the size of A4, you can fit two landscape A5s on top of each other to take an A4 size.
A3 is double the size of A4, so, would be huge.
My advise, and not sure of the local terminology you have there, is to go for a "foolscap" sized frame, which is a sort of bump-up from A4. As in, you get a foolscap folder to fit A4 paper in.
But yeah, better to measure it and size it, where you can.
Thanks Dudes (& a special G'day to the fellow Aussie Dude, lol!), Yeah I have taken ur advice and looked for
foolscap size in Au but to no avail....instead I have decided to put it in a big-ass A3 size frame, lol!
Just can't bring myself to cut anything off the Certificate to size it.
So there it is, problem solved. :)
Abide!

I bet if you just add an inch or so of matting around the edge it won't even be noticeable
Thanks Dudes! And Tripanstic, that is a really good idea about the matting.
As for the screen name Digitalbuddha, to quote Jay from Jay and Silent Bob...
my name is 'Jay as in the letter J'... so was too easy or lazy, lol!
Abide!
