Abide!
used to have a bumpersticker 'jews for bacon'. i love me some bacon but you know, mang, it would have to be some perfect, just right consistantly perfect bacon to be on the iaob menu and thats HARD.
i can see why they have not done it and i will, i do think continue to consider it a bad idea.
some things are just perfect the way they are, easy. now if i couldnt get the things they DO offer made differently, i.e.; making a regular a 'animal style' id be seriously bummed.

We needed one or two more to help keep spammers out of our beach community. Can't abide spammers! Good to see you here!

Not a thing. Unless some of my learned UK colleagues can suggest. Even McD in england is pretty poor. there is a quote from Douglas Adams (which I can't find at the moment) about how the British take a concept like fast food and apply it in such a way as to achieve the complete antithesis.
(must admit I got lost for a moment and googled IAOB and got
International Automotive Oversight Bureau (http://www.iaob.org/showPage.php), so you can understand my confusion).
Pure serendipity Instructables had this in this weeks e-mail:

"Even McD in england is pretty poor."
...
Uh, hate to break it to ya, Meek, but they're not exactly _good_ over here in the States.
Downright awful, in fact. That said, if I ever found myself someplace really foreign, like Hong Kong, or even better Calcutta or Mumbai or somewhere in the Hindu world, and came across ye olde gilded arcs there, I think I would have to stop in and see what's what. Do they even serve hamburgers in India? CAN they even serve hamburgers in India?!
.. Oh, and in France. I know, it's not as "foreign" as India or Hong Kong, but I think the tourist version of me would need a picture with a "Royale with Cheese."
Random trivia to go with random movie reference: Didja know, Marvin in "Pulp Fiction" was played by the same guy as Hermes Conrad in "Futurama?" I don't know 'bout you lot, but seeing him all skinny almost ruins it for me. Sweet manatee of Galilee!

You think that's bad the guy who played The Kurgen in highlander (
Clancy Brown (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000317/)) also plays Mr. Eugene H. Krabs in
Spongebob Squarepants (http://www.nick.co.uk/shows/spongebob/) and does parts in
Phineas and Ferb (http://tv.disney.go.com/disneychannel/phineasandferb/) (build your own rollercoaster on this site).

Yeah mang, where the fuck is the crew? Everyone gone bowling? Must be slacking somewhere.
I have been working on my black belt in DudeDontDo.
I'm vying for laziest world wide. 8)
Oh no everyone else has reached a higher level of slackness than DB and I and have ascended to Dudevana and left us behind!!
Is there a vegetarian option? :)

Have to say my interest has been fading . . posted a little on Facebook ( sounds like something of a confessional, there): http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/Dudeism/posts/124764137602053?notif_t=share_reply (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/Dudeism/posts/124764137602053?notif_t=share_reply). I have noted, on another thread, that most of the active users here have an FB account; maybe it would be something of a diversion if we all agreed to post on there for a couple of days - kick up a bit of dust and glitter. Maybe not. Meh. Fuck it.

I do as little face book as possible because it tends to dilute any focus, posting here puts the Dudeist thoughts in the same place, I would miss most of the posts because of time differences, and the huge amount of shite that is dredged through my facebook account.
IMHO of course.
Well, most Dudes know my opinion of FB and FB Dudeism - I'm not suggesting a migration just more of a baiting, for a short while. It is kinda of an embarrassment that the FB Dudeist page represents Dudeism to the world (in an unofficial official kind of way). But that's only if I think about it in a certain way ;D I generally don't think about it at all. Of course, there is also the argument that it is a more genuine representation of Dudeism (than we are, here) in that comments are generally limited to a quote or an "awesome" . . no one trying, too much, everyone taking it easy just the way the Dude advises. I dunno, now I have suggested an FB invasion I can't really be arsed.
More Pin Dudeists here for your money.
We're back to the Lebowskiist Dudeist dichotomy again.
I prefer less but better quality conversation than more but lesser quality Lebowski quoting.
And I do try to avoid Facebook as much as possible.
There are regular periods where the signal noise here does diminish but then I find a christian infiltrator to destroy so I'm happy again.
;D " . . but then I find a christian infiltrator to destroy so I'm happy again." My first laugh of the day, cheers. Now I'm going to take a nap.
I have an excuse for being quiet as you know....I am slowly trying to integrate myself back into various aspects of normality but it's a juggling act...I read the dudepages everyday and sometimes I respond...
Quoteposted a little on Facebook ( sounds like something of a confessional, there
Does this mean the facebook duders are lesser dude than us.... or perhaps more dudely?
Can't we all just be dudes and abide? Is this a schism....like the Catholics and Protestants....oh my word our religion is progressing fast!
Tongue firmly in cheek key was pressed the whole time I was writing this btw! 8)
Bacone!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm bacon..................... droooooooooooolllllll.... :)
My brother was going to try this chicken-fried bacon recipe for his birthday last year. Still hasn't done it as of this year, but his birthday is coming up, we'll all be at my parents', and Dad has a new deep-fat frier. We'll see. Any dudes here want to give it the test?
Chicken Fried Bacon w/ Cream Gravy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfbTO0GlONU
Bacon - it's the ice cream of the meat world, high in Vitamin-G (grease) and
bound to make the food police crazy! This side of fat is douple-dipped in fat
then fried in fat & served with a side of fat (cream gravy). Recipe comes from
Sodolak's Original Country Inn restaurant in Snook, Texas.
Fried Bacon
1 lb thick sliced bacon, cut in half
1 egg
1/2 cup milk (or cream or half & half)
1/2 cup flour
spices (optional)
oil (for frying)
Cream Gravy
3 tablespoons drippings
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons heavy cream (whipping)
salt and pepper, heavy on the pepper
1 Heat oil in a frying pan over med-high heat.
2 Whisk egg and milk together in a bowl.
3 Place flour in another bowl - season it if you'd like (garlic, pepper, salt,
lemon, cajun, etc.).
4 Double dip - first in the egg mixture, then into the flour and repeat.
5 Fry in oil until golden brown.
6 Serve with cream gravy for dipping; also good served with steak.
7 To make cream gravy:.
8 Put drippings or butter in a sauce pan over med-high heat. Whisk in the flour
until well blended; cook over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes, until bubbly.
Remove from heat and gradually add milk whisking constantly; return to heat &
whisk until the gravy thickens; Whisk in the cream, salt & pepper.

We only buy organic bacon. This has two advantages.
1. The pigs are killed with love.
3. It reduces the pressure on Monsanto to produce GM pigs with six legs.

I have heard that Monsanto was working on a pig with a built in Internet connection and MP3 player? Is this confirmed? What could be better; an In and Out Bacon Burger playing Creedence while you eat it. Wave of the future, dudes.

Gotta love it when this comes up in conversation..... :) 8)
