Ok. So, I'm watching the latest episode (on hulu, at least) of that stupid "Fringe" show...
(Yeah, yeah, I know. Look, I'm sure _you_ guys all have stupid guilty-pleasure type things, too. Mine is horrible, awful, bad sci-fi TV. I'd rather watch good, awesome, well-written SF TV, but every time someone comes out with such, it gets cancelled, e.g. "Firefly," "Earth 2," and I heard good things about that "Space: Above and Beyond")
ANYway, the very first scene of the show has John Noble's character Walter taking a toke out of something that looks to be made of lab equipment, and telling a story to whatshisface, "Hurley" from "Lost," you know, the heavy-set fellow. Can't remember his real name at the moment, Garcia, I think.
I don't know which is worse - that he's telling a story about having apparently slept with Yoko Ono, (Garcia: "What did HE say?" Noble: "What COULD he say? It was the '70s!") or that he apparently used a ZIPPO to light his bong! Oh, has he no sense of taste?
...
On reflection, I'm going to have to go with the Ono story; One can always take another bong toke, but once you've told someone a shameful story, it's out there for good.
