Rostropovitch isn't my favorite, I think I kinda prefer Yo-Yo Ma's performance of these pieces, but this is the one I was listening to just now.
Gould's famous 50's recording of the Goldberg Variations is one of my desert island discs; the stuff multiple eargasms are made of.
My fingers are already thinking how to play things. That's why I listen more often to violin, which I cannot play at all :P Joking here of course.
