Title: An Aussie Dude
Post by: WillotheDude on March 02, 2011, 05:07:10 AM
Hey there dudes,

Thought it best to introduce meself. The name's Rhys though most people who know me just call me willo. As the title indicates I'm from Australia ... well Sydney, Australia too be a lil more precise. I only recently discovered and embraced Dudeism (though I have pretty much lived like a dude ever since I left high school in 07) and only first saw the Big Lebowski at the beginning of last year - nevertheless I have quickly become a devoted fan since I first saw it. Never been much of a religious person even though I was baptised Christian, however whilst doing a little background research on The Big Lebowski I discovered Dudeism and immediately knew it was for me ... call it fate I don't know. Like the great dude Jeffrey Lebowski himself I love bowling (not too good at it but hell its fun anyway), I drive (not much better at that either but given I live in a big city I rarely use the old car), I love the White Russian (what a damn delicious drink!) and well I have a humble job working at the cinemas and a small group of likeminded friends. Anyway I got meself ordained as a Dudeist priest and now I'm just waiting for the ordination kit thingy-o to arrive (as well as a Dudeism shirt and that neat little Dude De Ching book) ... but anyway I'm ramblin' here and I've done introduced myself enough.

Catch ya later down on the trail dudes!

Awesome. I dig the aussie style. In fact, I just bought some coopers malt and grain mix to brew my own batch of cerveza.

i've never made oat soda before, but I knew I had to have a coopers first.

You let me know how they turn out dude. My older brother has concocted some far out Cinco de Mayo Cerveza's in the past. I'd probably blow up my apartment if I tried to brew beer ... I stick to just drinking some ol' Corona's or VBs (Victoria Bitter).

haven't had the pleasure of having a victorias, but you hit the nail on the head with cinco de mayo. i dont think i'll blowing up the apartment is an issue, that's only during the carbonation process and if you put it in weak containers. Deffinately im more concerned about sanitizing everything and bacteria from growing in it.
