OK, there's the days I have to act like an adult for "the man" but today was not one of them. I have a plethora of fun hobbies (bowling not one of them, I must admit) but making grain suds is..... which I think qualifies as dude like..... I've recently found the energy to kick the system up a notch and today made a whopping 10 gallons of the most excellent ale in about 5 hours.....(that's 4 cases of beer)..... here's the setup:

Fuckin-a dude, that some setup you got there! 8)
I have not made beer, but I used to make wine back in our old house. We don't really the have room here, and I sort of gave up drinking. Still have an oat soda or a White Russian on occasion,
but not very often. Used to love making wine and giving it away, but no so much drinking it.
WOW! That's great dude! Home brewing is something I've always wanted to take a whack at, but never sure if I had the patience for.
Any recommendations on a book or resource where a complete beginner could go to help get their feet wet?

OD, Fuck the set-up, where DID you get the energy. I've been brewing for three years and still use the pot on stovetop, slow grain cook, bucket fermentatiton, and bottle capping method. Capping is the bitch, but limbering up the mind, good music and a few hand crafted brews gets me through those sessions. My math is same, about four cases but add two hours for capping. Fuck it, I am a lazy fuck, but not feeling too guilty about it. ;D
