Title: The guy on the couch from halfbaked
Post by: The Grateful Dude on July 10, 2010, 02:01:28 AM
Really, I think all the most important dudes(and then some) are already there, but none of the recent nominees seem as dude as 'The Guy on the Couch' from Half-Baked. maybe hes not really popular or known enuff to make it, but few have ever reached the heights of dudeness he exhibits.(i.e. sleepin on couch all day, whole movie, literally talks once in whole movie.) Also for consideration, though not as dude as couch guy is Sidney Fife (Jason Segel's character in 'I love you, man', hes doesn't really have a job, has an awesome 'mancave' to hang out in stocked with beers, weed, instruments for jammin on and a 'jerkoff station) again, not really well known yet outside cult status(and that theyre fictional characters, but IMO more worthy than most others

I totally agree man! Also, Jason Segal's character Peter in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, hell Jason Segel himself is pretty dude! Just found out he's an ordained ULC minister, and their only creed is "Do only that which is right" but has no dogma or doctrine.

True that, also very dude in Knocked Up, in fact him and seth rogen and all the roommates basically make up a big dude commune, all of em party hard and relax harder in that movie!
