I remember that song. It was released commercially as "Everybody's Free to Wear Sunscreen" by Baz Luhrmann way back in 98/99 sometimes, when I was in up 6th form.
After doing some quick research on the song, apparently it was a word for word reading of an article by Chicago Tribune columnist Mary Schmich. Someone has been saying for years it was Vonnegut's, to which he replied: "What she wrote was funny, wise and charming, so I would have been proud had the words been mine."
