I need some advice my friend bob is having trouble with a group of his close friends that are throwing a tantrum over some trivial shit , (trivial being late for a gathering of buddies nothing serious, no weddings funerals or celebrations the gathering was held because bob is joining the army) now when he gets there 20 people are pissed shout a bunch of bullshit and leave some of them slapped bob, and now they're stirring shit among his other good buddies. now bob is a real sensitive dude that's always been there for his buddies and he always considerate of everyone's feelings. For them to just forget all of that is really shit. Now I'm really pissed with these dudes but their bobs friends and I can't just go "Dude fuck 'em if they were your buddies they wouldn't pull that shit" because he really cares about them.

Well my friend, you can't act for Bob n neither can you take on Bob's shit man. I think he has to ask himself the question...are these dudes really my friends? They sound like rug pissers to me man! We're talking about unchecked agression here dude. I for one wouldn't slap my buddy if he was late for anything...in fact one of my buddies is on a totally different time scale to the rest of the planet....if he says he'll be at such n such for 7...I just add on another hour...n if he turns up then cool and if he don't ...more weed for me! 8)
Anyhoo. Bob will have some timekeeping kicked into him in the army I'm sure...(compulsory with you dudes I believe) and hey they should really cut him some slack he's being FORCED into the army man! The dude can do what the fuck he likes in my opinion...cos he sure as shit won't have much free time when he joins up!
