Antagonism

In my eyes, Dudeism is the need to grow in mind and spirit, a desire we have ever since we are born. We manifest it through becoming actors, politicians, singers, musicians, even university professors. Our lives are precious to us and we want others to believe that as well. To feel we are important and are bound by nothing is a goal we all share. People who enjoy publicity are, by definition, dudeists.
Antagonism is the way. It shows us to deal with what we do not like and gives us the strength to fight our enemies to the very end.

In my eyes, Dudeism is...

...not paying Brandt a 100 clams to watch.

...burning a J.

...not knowing what day this is...what day is this?

...helping my lady friend conceive, man.

...fixing the cable.

...drinking a White Russian.

...bowling.

...carrying a beeper.

...hot chicks wearing my robe.

...smoking tai stick while occupying various, um, administration buildings.

...finding a new rug to tie my room together.

...and of course, slacking.

Fuck it, time to abide.

I hope I'm there. Because I sincerely doubt (and I will have to check with my accountant on this) if I will do anything to get there.
I bought a certificate saying I am ordained. There, monkey fed, done.

For me is relaxing, relaxing even more, watching life from a kind of detached point of view, and most of all trying to avoid being uptight and not-tolerant as much as I can. Plus all the things said by digitalbuddha.  ;D
Yeah well, that's just, ya know, like, your opinion, man.

In Dudeness we abide.

I agree with that, and I my opinion is that watching TBL, seeing Walter explode, and expound on things like hill 364, allows me to vicariously relieve myself of my anger, my frustration at the fucks at the league office. So i dont have to. No-one can antagonize me when I am in the after TBL mood
but in the past I have been uptight, non-tolerant, not so much now, i have a new theory.
if i could remember it i would tell ya. if it was a weekday

The whole concept abates.

For me, Taoism with more humor, more mischieve, and way more doobage.

Zen for potheads? That's kinda my take.

Buddhism for the kids from the back of the class?

Jesus' style, before they wrote a book about him?

Slacker Sage (ooh, that one is good, any one using it? Dueist monk=Slacker Sage, hehe).
