Budog Dude

:-\ So I was imbibing the sacrament of the Kahcasian and contemplating man. How would ones relationship being a Dudeist be effected it the hooked up with someone who was like lets say a Frisbeeterian or a worships Festivus?

Budog.  ???
Allow the dudes to come onto me in the bowling alley and hindereth them not!

Or even a Pastafarian?

I like the Buddhist idea, you may have got it wrong this life but perhaps you'll get it right in the next one  ;D

I know some Chinese think it's bad luck to have two religions under one roof!

Personally as long as they're not trying to convert me I don't care.

One just abides.

I myself dabbled with Frisbeetarianism at one point.
What I liked was your soul will never get to heaven, so why waste time studying a Stone-age book? Fuck it, man.

Meekon you're right. If two, or more, abide everything goes smooth. It could also be nice, exchanging ideas and so on. As long as they remain cool and relaxed about it.
Yeah well, that's just, ya know, like, your opinion, man.

In Dudeness we abide.

As long as you both respect each other it don't matter about the religion.  Hell, nobody knows any solid proof anyway, all we have are like our opinions man.  Just abide

new to dudeism, but would think a true dude wouldn't hassle about mixing different faiths. the more the better as long as dudeism isn't lost in the shuffle.

SmokeytheBuddha

Hey man, as long as no one's trying to cut off your chonson or throwing coffee cups at your head most Dudeists follow the Dude's way and abide with anyone and everyone.
The whole concept abates.

A lot of people use the word "tolerance" its okay tolerate what you don't approve of, but imo its the wrong way of going about it, I think you need to accept what others believe in because at the end of the day everybody is different and if believing in what they believe in makes them, happy, secure, gives them purpose then its perfectly fine because it makes them happy. I don't like it when people feel the need to push their beliefs on others even if its coming from a good place, I think acceptance is the way to go.

Provided that, its not hurting anyone or yourself, you should be free to partake in what ever brings you joy.

If whomever your in a relationship with accepts and respects your beliefs and vice versa I don't see why there could be a problem (its not always that simple but then again it is!)
