You are right. Beside Justice it is also a matter of Respect. It's the same point of view that vivisectionists or intensive battery farmers have: animals have no soul so no respect is given, they are just animals. I definitely agree with using everything of an animal: meat, skin, fat and so on, as we do with the most important animal for human beings, the pig, but I can't stand this stupid, asshole way of treating Nature. Killing seals' babies for their skin is the same of destroying rabbits to test perfumes or beauty creams, killing snakes to make shoes or destroying Amazonia's trees and so on.

How many human beings remember that without trees we will just have no oxygen and all life will die?

Sure Dude, I also understand that people sometimes feed and survive by eating animal meat (but honestly, i would not eat whale meat, turtle soup and all those exotic menus in expensives restorants) but the case is different when it comes to a lot of paraquats trying to take advantage from the animals, creating a lot of things that really are not necessary, for example and as you said, coats fur, products tested on animals, etc..
Well the issue here is that these things happen for vanity, indolence, greed and a lot of things that obviously, we all know, The Dude would repudiate.

Yes Dude, you are right. I'm for eating meat, but matched with respect. Just like American Indians fellas did, hunting only what they needed, using everything of the animal and saying thanks for his life and the food he gave them. At the end we're eaten too, unless you prefer your ashes to be spread on the ocean; which will be my choice. But only because it would be more difficult to have a Norse Funeral.
Anyhow I'm with you, I don't eat babies meat like lambs or little pigs and so on. It would ruin my Karma.

Shit, it would be so easy to live on Earth if there would be less paraquats. But you know, American Indians, and Indios from Latin America where grown up following the respect way, so they had less paraquats between them. We are full of them.
