Sorry, dude, Kerouac? Great friggin author, genuis, fuckin a, but also, you know, closeted freakazoid Catholic boy wanna be Buddhist Dharma thing sewed to his mommy's side like the sunny side of Norman Bates, stupid ass alcholholic blowing up his liver way too early, runs every relationship including one with two emotionally destitute kids headlong into the muck? Kerouac, man? Fucking genuis, yeah, but NO DUDE, and this is me who's read like every novel he ever wrote.
