A small book telling the story of a friendship between an elderly Sufi owner of a shop and a young Jewish boy. It all starts when the boy steals some canned food from the shop in order to save some of his father's money for things more pleasant than food. Instead of punishing the boy, the old man begins to teach him the pacifist version of the Quran teachings, like 'better you steal something small here and avoid any serious trouble than you ruin your life somewhere else'.
