Locked Older Threads

I've locked some really old threads here on the forum. Some of them were very old, and some of the members in them have passed away. Some of them have been targeted by spammers so I was trying to minimize the damage.

I apologize for any of you that have received locked messages from the forum.

I've quit locking them because I didn't realize the forum software sent out those messages.

All I can do is politely ask everyone to look at the last date someone replied to a thread. If it's older than 4 or 5 months, please reconsider replying. As volunteers, we moderators and administrators do this to help out the forum. We have to read every message that is posted, follow all the URLs linked, and make sure everything is running smoothly.
