What films, aside from the Big Lebowski, capture the essence of Dudeism? Or, maybe from another angle, what films would the Dude watch?

Watched an animated flick over the weekend called "Surf's Up," where Jeff Bridges plays the voice of an old, surfer penguin dude. The tunes were awesome, and the primary point of the film was to abide.

Any other Lebowskian films people would recommend?

Clerks 2. Especially the part from the prison to the end. When friends gather together and when they say "This is the first day of the rest of our life." Just like when each of us found Dudeism.

Big Trouble in Little China. Full of Taoist quotes.

Interstate 60. A travel to enlightment.

D.O.A. Full of wonderful ladies, some strongly vaginal like the wrestler.
Yeah well, that's just, ya know, like, your opinion, man.

In Dudeness we abide.

I always thought that Reservoir Dogs had a lot to say on the importance of dudeism in much the same way that the Zen master teaches with a reverse koan or a Kung Fu priest would use yang to illuminate yin. By being a study in the logical extremes of uptightness, the film says a lot about abiding.
Smokin' and bowlin' in the LBC...

Fucking A man. Even if I like Quentin's movies you are fucking right. Maybe because sometimes I'm Walter and sometimes I'm like the Dude.
