Hey dudes, I just wanna throw this out there and apologise for being a judgemental dick in some of my posts. I don't know any of you personally and think, (with 20-20 hindsight), I should've respected some dudes opinions as just that.

Despite being a non creationist, I think that other religious figures do have merit  down there somewhere and those that search for truth/ knowledge/ what have you, regardless of where they find it, are OK by me.

If I can't learn to dig the styles of other dudes and see past the social/ cultural  diversity, I should not count myself as an abiding dude.

I am a self confessed know all of Fuck all and have been like the proverbial wandering child. I takes me a while to realise how stubborn I can be and admit when I'm wrong.

Sorry dudes.

Realizing when you're being undude, and being able to slap yourself back into your Dudeness is about as abiding as you can get.  I don't think we're ready to throw you out of the pool man.   Usually when the topic of dogmatism / religion come up I keep my comments to myself because, like you said... "It's just my opinion man" .  Not for me to stomp on anyone else's beliefs or how they abide. But I can't say that I am always able to just keep shit to myself and have my undude moments as well... as I am quite sure we all do.  Admitting when you're wrong, or over the line.... well,  I like your style man.

Rule #1 - Don't suffer fools
Rule #2 - Don't be a dick
Rule #3 - Learn the first two rules

^^^ Agreed. I think arguing about religion is like arguing over which is better, coke or Pepsi? Everyone has their opinion and they are entitled to have one and it should be respected. I have friends who are Christians and other religions and I totally respect the path of life they are on.
People will believe what that want to believe and to rag on them for believing differently than you is undude. But as already stated realizing your wrong doings and finding your way back to the rug is very awesome and very dude.

I can't wait for my next beer

Right on, Brother D!  None of us are perfect, but I believe those of us who acknowledge our faults, own them, and at least make an attempt to better ourselves are worthy of being called Dudes; certainly more so than people who are stuck face-down in the muck of their own assholiness.  I know I'm a work-in-progress and that my toe occasionally slips over the line.  But I'm trying, Dudes, I'm trying.
I don't go to church on Sunday
Don't get on my knees to pray
Don't memorize the books of the Bible
I got my own special way

Everyone slips over the line at some point or another, nobody is completely free from their inner Walter. I know I'm guilty of being undude as imagine we all are! All that matters is being able to admit when we're fuckin up and taking steps to better it! (Which is pretty much what everyone else said but I like to talk)
