It's crazy that people can look at rights being taken away and not care, even if they are not gun owners themselves. We are slowly but surely losing the Constitution to all these liberal policy pushers, they act like they are doing these things to protect the people but all that's happening is We the People are losing our voices.

Just look at the First Amendment, political correctness has effectively destroyed freedom of speech in America. Sure you can say whatever you want, just as long as you don't offender anyone or anything. How is that freedom? Letting people pick and choose what others can and can't say is about as far from freedom as it gets with out the use of physical shackles.

The Second Amendment, there are tons of laws in place already that restrict the second amendment. Instead of going through the correct process of making an amendment to the constitution, the powers that be  decided it was up for interpretation and bypassed what were supposed to be the fail safes laid out by the Founding Fathers against the government becoming just another Tyrannical state.

Sure it's a slow take over but little by little people's rights are being taken away from them and if it goes unchecked for too much longer one day we are going to wake up a communist superpower wondering where it all went wrong.

I wish it was all just conspiracies and a tin foil hat could save us but alas all you have to do is look to see the writing that's on the wall.

In many cases, I think people don't care simply because it doesn't involve them directly.  They're preoccupied with maintaining whichever illusions they have that they're in control of their lives, and can't be bothered to step outside of that little bubble of isolation.  "I don't own a gun and I'm not planning to, so it makes no difference to me one way or the other."  And they're not looking at the bigger picture and/or the precedent it sets--allowing the U.S. Government to strip the average citizen of his/her rights without much resistance.  What's next?
I don't go to church on Sunday
Don't get on my knees to pray
Don't memorize the books of the Bible
I got my own special way

I would never trust any government who doesn't trust it's law abiding citizens enough to own firearms.

That's just like my opinion, man.

It goes to people's perception of government.
Once we stop treating government as our employees they might as well be royalty.
We fought a revolution to get rid of that.
We are the government. Where these fuckers have the gall to think that they can make these sort of unpopular decisions for us and impose their will on us is a mystery to me. It's clear that they need to be reminded of their place. People really need to stop the petty bullshit and join arms to provide a united front. It's enough just to show that sort of unity.

Q: How long do we have to put up with this?

A: Until we don't.

That said, I just don't see revolution on the horizon. Not given the expert ease with which they manipulate the populace, segregate us into discrete interest groups, and co-opt (or, depending on your perspective, serve) the business and corporate paymasters. I could be wrong. And would be glad to be so.

They are setting us up for a big economic hit. Then the populace will throw away our freedoms. It's the end game. Freedom thrives in good times and when things get bad enough? Fucking Nazis. Nothing changes.
People will be provided with a scapegoat and the upshot is that they will fuck themselves over willingly. It's the same thing over and over.
