Reverend Al

I've never used a temp agency myself, but a former brother-in-law once told me the good thing about temp jobs is that you know you're not going to be there long if you don't like the work they want you to do.  On the other hand, if you like the job and the people you're working for you can usually do just as good a job as the regular employees, or better, prove yourself to that company, and odds are they'll see your value and worth and offer you a full time position.
I don't go to church on Sunday
Don't get on my knees to pray
Don't memorize the books of the Bible
I got my own special way

I worked as a Consultant for years.
Which is basically a glorified temp agency.
A lot of big companies hire almost exclusively from staffing agencies.
And the people they hire on as permanent often start as consultants.
It's actually good cause you can move around and find a gig you like before deciding to stick around.
