There were a few scenes where you just felt like there was definitely something fishy.
This one is one of them for sure.
I mean your instincts just tell you what's going on.
Watch the cops face when he realizes that they are going to play a recording of the phone call.
Looks like a silent "oh shit".
And for nearly every piece of tangible evidence there is something that makes it very suspect.
And every piece of evidence was found by the department that had said it would not be involved because of conflict of interest.
After the other department had found nothing.
