Christine

I just became newly Ordained, am curious what is the first thing you used your ordination for?

Reverend Al

The only thing I've used mine for is to shock friends and family who didn't realize there was such a thing as Dudeism, and would never have guessed that I'd become an ordained anything8)
I don't go to church on Sunday
Don't get on my knees to pray
Don't memorize the books of the Bible
I got my own special way

Having a beer. Bars' over there.  ;D

I tried casting out demons, cursing paraquat and alchemy.
No luck.
So I rolled one and cracked an oat soda.

Well, I was just ordained and my friends will never believe I did this. I am looking forward to sharing my dudism with the world! Peace to all.

Yeah, I'm recently ordained and not done anything with it yet. I do totally intend to be a militant inactivist, though. I will put everything into not doing much of anything.

I'd set the world on fire with my inactivity, but I need the lighter fluid for sparking up. That shit is expensive.
If at first you don't succeed ... Um ... Yeah. Whatever and stuff.

After I got ordained, I learned how to take things easy. I told some friends about Dudeism, because they got curious, and now two of my best friends are ordained as well. I usually just ride around and talk about shit. Just generally say fuck it.

I'm diggin' the fact that so many of us have done so little with our ordination.  Seems fitting.  ;D

I put it out there that I would Officate any of my friends weddings if they were in need. No cost to them but I might take a rug from the reception hall depending on how it goes.

Brother D

I framed mine and occasionally use it as a rolling tray, other than that, a cool ornament.

I became ordained with the intention of marrying my Dad and his fiance. He was trying to get an annulment through the Catholic church, and wanted to marry his fiance in the church as well. As anybody knows, the church moves at a glacial pace - at best. Dad was getting rather frustrated with the pace, and I came across Dudeism on Face Book. Did some quick checking and became ordained.
But before I could approach my Dad, the church finally agreed and Dad got his wish. So like others here . . . I did nothing.
