Been listening to more chilled out tunes latey, such as Nightmares on wax, The Cinematic Orchestra and Zero 7. If you're into jazz/ funk/ hip hop, check em out, mang.

Haven't heard the other two (Nightmares and the Orchestra one) but I can definitely dig the Zero 7 (in the waiting line).  I will have to listen to the other two dude.  Very chill stuff. My tastes are all over the map so it's always tough for me to make recommendations... but some of my favorites would be ..

Them Crooked Vultures (Collab project with Josh Homme, Dave Grohl and John Paul Jones - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMFTSmnQT7A

Failure - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0P6t2rlo_k

Amplifier - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cc5HRVHoaw0

Porcupine Tree (lots of chill music, although this particular song isn't all that chill) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvpVyziILlM

Steven Wilson (Dude from above band... chill as well) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VL61k2o-EA4

Well there's a start anyway....

I love amplifier, though have yet to see them live. Also Edward Sharpe and the magnetic zeros, The war on drugs, David Gilmour, the list is endless.

My eternal quest for new music, has led me to a band dudely entitled Slacker, which are kinda like a jazz/ chill out type outfit.

Love, love, love all those artists!  I could add more to the list, but I bet you already know of them (Kid Loco, Thievery Corporation, Kruder & Dorfmeister, etc.).  When it was around, I listened to the internet radio station Monkey Radio.  I created a Pandora radio station using many, many, many artists from a Monkey Radio playlist I found online.  It's called Monkeygeist Radio, and I'd share it with you if I knew how.  Maybe you can search for it, I think I made it public.   It really has a very similar feel to the old Monkey Radio.  You can also find a kind of similar station at www.somafm.com called Groove Salad.  I have a passion for this genre of music, and it's rare to find others with it as well, as least around here, so pardon my gushing.

BTW, Neil Young rocks too.  I also love classic rock!

EDIT:  Well let's see if this works.  Monkeygeist Radio http://www.pandora.com/stations/play/2637590749940208253?shareImp=true&isGooglePlay=1&sp=1

I also shared to my Twitter feed too, so you can try that link as well (and follow me you want @ZoeAbides)  Monkeygeist Radio pdora.co/1VrvcDw

Yep, dig thievery corp and Kruder, also been working my way through the Jeff Buckley back catalogue lately. I keep a CCR best of and TBL OST in the car as standards, have quite eclectic taste, so occasionally, prog rock/ metal, jazz, blues, anything that fits my mood.

Man, I've not listened to Neil young or the dead for a while, far out!  Was listening to Quincy Jones while playing weiqi the other night, just for a change, followed by Sergio Mendez!

Yeah I got away from classic rock entirely for a long time.
It's once again kind of fresh.
I like a lot of new bands as well.
Blitzen Trapper is great.
I saw them live. Don't get me started posting vids.

And they are huge Neil Young fans. They do some awsome cover versions.
