That's one, what's yours ?

Here we had the luck to receive Taisen Deshimaru, first Zen master to have received the mission to spray Zen around the world. I don't know why he focused on France but he came in Paris and practiced since the early 70th. Within 10 years he founded 200 dojos, mostly in Europe. So when I started to look at Zen, around late 90th, I could find a lot of well translated books from pretty good source and also serious dojos to practice.

I feel Zen had been mind blowing to me because Zen's nature, but also because I was helped a lot by the work of adaptation by european Zen monks, plus knowing Mahayana and Chan before helped me to see beyond Zen's traditions.

Hearing interesting metaphors and other fairy tells, practicing traditional meditations, I worked on my Satori, I may be crazy but I beleive I felt it, several other times since too, I guess so cause it is what it is... it's a really strong trip to be here and now, and it has consequences.

Still singing japonese sutras I don't understand a shit about, surrounded by an army of guys with the same robe and boldness, like, I should become one of them... taking some more kyosaku hits on my shoulders... I fucked that.

Plus sushis are an ecological disaster.

So I walked away.
