would say this movie applies in the sense that, jeff bridges character(besides some of the homeless potentially) struggles with being almost the antidude,(during the earlier part when he was radio host, and when he goes back to work as one) being a complete dick and what not. but the second time hes a radio host since you see him before/as it starts happening you see hes trying to better himself/feel better but is misguided/the fame/money wasnt what he actually wanted.
but the scenes with parry where he is trying to help him/genuinely trying to make himself feel better, that after delivering the grail that he was able to finally(seemingly) be able to figure out what he wanted, who he was. to be able to feel at one with his self, instead of constantly feeling like nothing.
basically a similar category to like, the office space, dud to stud, but with a lot more struggle/internal debate. not that he ever actually ends up as the stud. but cant do things at other peoples speed, its about what he could do, what he feels is right.
besides the post, the question would be; if any of you know of other similar movies/media, of showing "the dude" as more a dynamic object/as a journey? instead of already being at balance, just rolling along.
