It was the Feminists that brought this sort of thing on.
They insisted that beauty pageants demeaned women by portraying them as bimbos.
So part of the criteria became these sort of nonsense questions.
If it were up to most guys you could watch a beauty pageant with the sound off.

Still these adult pageants are nothing compared to the child pageants that border on abuse. They are creepy beyond words as made famous in the HBO documentary "Living Dolls"
