*sighs*  I have nothing against any atheist.  Believe what you will or won't, that's your call.  This author is an anti-theist, though.  "We must put them all in the fiction section."  He's imposing a view on the faithful as much as any Mormon at your front door is.  "You're not allowed to think this way," is effectively what he's saying, just like any faith has things that go against it (call them sins if you will).

I'll admit that there is a very real concern with faith (especially Christianity) trying to construct an overt theocratic order in the political system here in the US, but the solution is not to tell those who are religious that they can't be religious.  It's to get them to agree that churches have authority over spiritual matters and the government has authority over secular matters.  It's not an easy fight, but that's really the gist of it.
