A rant and a plea for advice, fellow dudes!

Even the Dude can lose his sh*t eventually, especially when there's a Walter waving his gun around during a bowling game. In this case there's the classic 'No, Walter, you're not wrong. You're just an asshole' response.

However what do you do if it's a girl? And she isn't being Walter, she is being nice and cute and communicative.

Long story:
We were just acquaintances, I helped her get a job and she asked me out on what I thought was a date but she thought was just friendly chit-chat. In a restaurant. In the evening. I liked her and let her know, she friendzoned me and I thought this was the end of it.

But right now she is spamming me daily on skype just wanting to talk. I don't want to keep communicating closely because I like her, not to mention the simple fact that I have a crapload of work and don't have time to hold conversations constantly (she works as a collage artist and has a taaad bit less workload). I have told her all of the above but she just doesn't stop.

As a highly empathic person (often to my regret), I feel sorry for her. She is a bit naive and just needs a friend or someone to talk to, but she isn't lonely - she does have a boyfriend and I am constantly pushed to ask what the f she needs him for, aside from the obvious, if she spends her whole working day texting me. I just started responding less often, but that does not stop her. Just now she wrote me that her mom will be visiting her this weekend, which apparently is very important information for me, and I feel like that's it. I just don't know how else to explain her that I'm busy and not interested in her personal life stories. I feel I'm being used like a living twitter-like diary or something.

Again, she's a good person and a naive one. I would feel like the last dick if I was rude to her, but I am just at a loss of words. Halp?

Yeah this is a very late reply, and I have nothing to do so here ya go.

I had a gal like that, I showed her I had a thing and she had a boyfriend but she was loyal to him, I was like some side hoe that she would do all kinds of stuff with but not with her boyfriend. I just gave it time and she came around after her and boy broke up. Time does miracles my dude.
