Fez for dudes

Has any one thought of using Dudeism type fezzes? Dude fish, ordination logo, White Russian, etc

Making would be cheaper. Some good instruction pattern would do it, then could put whatever logo one likes. Might be so something cool for the store compeers links if  someone took up making them but a pattern otherwise for the financially taxed

I have to admit I'm tempted as well. I've always had a bit of a thing for hats, but have a big head (used to fit my dads hat when I was ten).

Tarbouche is the Arabic word for that stylee of hat you're discussing.

Fez is the name for the same stylee of hat but is coloured red after a muslim victory of the Brits in which the streets ran red with the blood of the enemy and the arabs dipped their tarbouches into the blood and then wore them....

It strikes a discordant note with me as a Dude...

Wear your tarbouche with pride but your Fez with shame....

Never heard that that way but sure call it by another name. It goes back way further in use than the arab nations. In fact a for of it is still used in Greece. Not for any muzlim crap... If I made one it would be tan or black with something from Dudeism as a logo. Thankee for the info

If you just want one of the normal red ones they're quite cheap on Amazon. Me and a few mates decided to put 100% Dude-like effort into our costumes last Halloween and just wore normal clothes but while wearing a fez. They were only like two or three pound each of Amazon!
