Sage advice, indeed. Not to steal Bo's thunder but we need a corollary list for "Wisdom of the Dude". I'd nominate the following rules for starters.

1.  Never base a major life decision on what a 2,000 year old fictional carpenter would do.
2.  If you're gonna break the law, only break one law at a time.
3.  Don't order seafood from a restaurant known for something other than seafood.
4.  Bourbon is a good accompaniment to poor decisions.
