Due to the large number of paraquat nihilist spammers out there they made it so you can't post links until you have posted enough to qualify I don't know how many posts you need to qualify but it takes a few.

After 10, you'll be able to post a link. Some very UNdude spammers were posting links to all kinds of bullshit, so the ten post policy was put in place. Knock down ten pins and you're in, dude.
