Ok I will admit it....I am the worst offender when it come to staying on topic....I can't help it dudes....it may be genetic??
If someone post something that gets my attention....I just go off on tangent about that interesting point.
I mean really we're dudes....dudes can't be bothered about that stuff....life goes on man.

My guess is that the average thread stays on topic for maybe 8 to 10 posts and then some dude's flashback kicks in and off we go into off topic land! Sort of like every dude's toe slips over the line once in a while.

hmmm... i don't think that derailing a conversation is the point or message here rather the malicious intend to frustrate and incite discord within a community.    And in respond to approaching it like a dude, well... arguing and feeding trolls with reactionary tactics would be very undude in my humble opinion but that is just my opinion. Thus the pacifist approach I presented. Let the troll exist...  ignore and continue floating in the river of life... good vibes to all.
