Rev. Iconocclesiastes

Gee, I did not mean to rile anybody up.  Here is my first installment of "Rev. Iconoclesiastes' verse from a sacred text (other the Bible) of the week."     8)

This week's passage is from the Yaksha Prashna section of the Mahabharata:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yaksha_Prashna

"Question No. 9 the Yaksha asked: Who is truly happy? What is the greatest wonder? What is the path? And what is the news?

Yudhishthira: He who has no debts is truly happy. Day after day countless people die. Yet the living wish to live forever. O Lord, what can be a greater wonder? Argument leads to no certain conclusion, the Srutis are different from one another; there is not even one Rishi whose opinion can be accepted by all; the truth about Dharma and duty is hid in caves of our heart: therefore, that alone is the path along which the great have trod. This world full of ignorance is like a pan. The sun is fire, the days and nights are fuel. The months and the seasons constitute the wooden ladle. Time is the cook that is cooking all creatures in that pan (with such aids); this is the news."

Rev. Iconocclesiastes

Those who abide do not say what it is to abide; those who say what it is to abide, do not abide. This is my realization, man.

Dude don't think this is any better than your other attempts.

Stop posting religious tracts with no relevance, biblical or otherwise.

Put your meaningless waffle on your blog site and keep it off here.

Let us then defer the resolution of this matter to the wise judgement of the Dudely Lama.   Can you and I agree to this, meekon5?

Mate myself and the other admins are already discussing your actions.

That's cool.    8)    Look, I'm not trying to scam anybody here.

As I said before it's not a good idea pissing off the admins.

You already have a couple of us displeased (that's two out of four).

These discussions involve Oliver (the Dudley Lama), myself and the other two admins. We have been more than generous so far, as is the Dudeist way we are slow to ban anyone, and usually take time discussing the pro's and cons.

I  have no problem with anyone having a christian (or any other religious, or not religious) point of view.

This is no the place to be pushing your own agenda.

..As an admin of a tin-hat forum I'm well aware of people claiming "free speech".  The thing is, these forums are private property, you do NOT, NEVER DID, NEVER WILL, have free speech while in/on/using private property.  The Supreme Court has always upheld that...

As jdurand has said you do not have rights to publish here, you are an invited guest, that membership implies, we can, and will revoke that, if you continue to carry on like this.

This is unacceptable:

Rev. Shagbeard, I am not worried about some atheistic haters' getting all worked up about my Bible Verse of the Week.  These men are cowards.  Besides, the Supreme Court has roundly rejected prior restraint.

And this does not excuse you:

If we have not been obvious enough already then this is me drawing the line.

Stop posting like this.

Judd Dude

Glad an admin stepped in here. I for one, and I'm sure I'm not alone, don't come here to read bible blather and other religious nonsense.

Last I checked this is a Dudeism forum, not  a Christianity forum.

Indeed, Judd Dude.  This is not a Christianity forum.  That's why this segment is entitled "Rev. Iconoclesiastes' verse from a sacred text (other the Bible) of the week."

Well that may be the case in this particular thread(though you still mention the bible) but we can all read between the lines based on all your other posts and threads, which is what I was referring to in my post. It's quite clear you have a religious cause, and that's fine-knock yourself out. However when you force it on others expect to be called out for it.

Thats about as much time I care to waste on this, and I'd say take er easy but I know that that's not possible.
