Since it has been noted that some dudely types are in AA or otherwise avoid firewater, I propose a nonalcoholic drink.

Let's call it the Honky.

Let's recommend simple flavors, test it, and then make it all unofficially official.

Seen a site say that some old show in UK had a drink called Quick Milkshake and that it tasted close. It lists the ingredients but not measures: Milk, sugar, and vanilla extract over ice.

For the Honky you can use the same ingredients as the home made Kahlua...but using decaf coffee...and skip the alcohol altogether...and for the lactose intolerant you can also skip the cream/milk.
Decaf and non-alcoholic home made kahlua over ice....or mix yourself a Zen Dog and mix it with (full) caf coffee.

Caffeine is what stops me becoming comatose.
Currently experimenting with the coffee and kahlua cocktail.
It's going well,on my third pot,should have it perfected sometime this afternoon.
Providing I don't run out of kahlua.

I think I'm using a pint teapot and into that goes 3 or 4 teaspoons of rich Kenco and a shot of Kahlua.Actually,currently on coffee liqeuer for economy reasons.Top it up with boiled water and it does about 5 shots.It's rather nice,on my 2nd pot since I got home an hour ago.Haven't slept for 4 nights but as they say "you're a long time dead".Catch up then.

It's for dudes with strong constitutions who can handle all the caffeine.
I was suggesting a non-alcoholic Kahlua mixed with decaf coffee as the Honky and real Kahlua mixed with fully leaded coffee as the Zen Dog who did such an excellent achiever job of developing it!
Just like my opinion dude.

Have to say, as much as I go to In N Out, I haven't tried one of their shakes. Will have to next time.
