how's it going folks?

i've had my pendleton lebowski sweater for a couple years now, but can't seem to figure out what kind of pants the dude wore.  i figured maybe you all would have an idea?

i did find these, which seem pretty cool  but i was wondering what the originals were called or what brand they might've been? : coloresdelpueblo (dot) org/Clothing/Pants4.htm

Go browse Costco sleepware, check the women's too for more materials/patterns (they have two legs just like guys and with no zipper it's essentially the same thing).

In my own recollection, they were called "jams pants" and were popular in the late 80's-early 90's.  In the wild, the pygmy version, "jams shorts" roamed more freely amongst humans while the longer appendaged cousins were more skittish and not seen as often.

Jams were most often seen abiding in the company of the surfer and skater crowd and spread from there.

Look like some sort of lounge pants to me dude, and even if they arent, a good pair of obnoxious printed loungers would suffice for some dudely wear in a pinch.
"Is this a... what day is this???"

They aren't PJ's.
They used to be around. I had a few of them back in the day.
In fact I'm pretty sure JB must have shopped the same catalog as I did because I had a couple pairs like those pictured and a couple like the tan ones he wears that actually have draw strings at the ankles.
As I recall I got them from a catalog. Heavy cotton canvas actually.
These might do ?
