Far out. It deserves it.

I've never really considered it as a "stoner movie" per se. But maybe that's because nearly ever other "stoner movie" I've seen has been essentially pretty dumb. Very funny, in some cases, but generally a pretty basic humour level. Shit dude, we're high, I'm seeing things, now I've fallen over into this cake that I can't stop eating. You know what I mean.

Perhaps then that's why it's so often top of stoner movie lists- because it has far more depth than any of the ones it stands against? Just IMDO.
