I do have to say this:

are very good articles on the subject and point out how little parliament and the prime minister really understand the problem and the technology involved.

In fact if the stupid bunch of self serving publicists understand as little about most of the other stuff that they are involved (responsible for) with (economics, other major crime, the banks, etc) then I am by no means surprised the country is in such a shitty mess.

Pedophiles do not sit and Google their corrupt pictures, they use the dark net through TOR, and unregistered proxy servers, and even the high capacity removable media that is available in any PC World, or high street computer shop.

I am getting so annoyed at the prime minister standing there saying we are making huge strides in dealing with the problem when many of the agencies actually involved with dealing with the problem say that this will be little or no effect at all. The man has no clue what so ever.

It allows the politician to make a big show of doing something without actually disturbing business as usual.  A double win.

Plus, he can hire more people to work on the problem.  A triple win.
