Took 'er easy this weekend

I came home Friday evening from work, had went by the grocery store and stocked up with food. Went by the liquor store, bought what I needed to keep my mind limber. Haven't done anything but vegged out on the couch, watched movies, listened to some tunes, sat on the porch and smoked a few all weekend. It's been a great. My family and special lady said it sounded like a wasted weekend but I can't see it that way,man.

I don't know, A Dude, I think I agree with your family and special lady:  You should have been spending your money this weekend so you can make more next week, or stressing out so you can keep the therapists in business. Maybe you should have been out on an adventure so you could look good in front of others when they ask you what you did this weekend.  Yessir, that's the ticket!

Yeah man. Could of been at the mall with my special lady yesterday. So glad her niece came up from Florida this weekend, gave me a much needed weekend vacation, man.
