Was thinking, we don't see many, if any, female forms being suggested for "Great Dudes in History."

So I decided to nominate Marlyn Monroe for Great Dude in History.

Well, that's your way to see it.

I would not have choosen her, she did not really abide, and was not taking things easily. Unfortunatly, most of the history was writen by undudistic men, so only men could be remembered.

But your topic is interesting. My choice would be to choose a woman who was in the shadow of her spouse. Supporting him, take things slowly. You know what I mean?

Well of course, none would be as hot as Norma, but, you know...

Well...you know... ah nevermind, let's get a drink.
I'm the Dothradude, Dude.

8) Well, that's just like my opinion, man. But hell yeah, another oat soda, Gary.

Judd Dude

I respect your opinion man, but tend to agree with havazhyol in that Marilyn was pretty fucked up man, and hardly takin 'er easy.
Myself, I think Donna Reed might be a better candidate for a great Dude(tte) in history. Beautiful, sweet, good homemaker... what more could a Dude ask for? I know I know, that's just like my opinion man...
"Is this a... what day is this???"

Masked Dude

As for my favorite female celebrity, it would be Audrey Hepburn. So beautiful and before she died, gave her time helping kids.
* Carpe diem all over the damn place *
Abide like the Dude when you can
Yell like Walter when you must
Be like Donny when you are

 8) Well now, let us consider the following dude like characteristics of Marlyn Monroe...........

- Into zesty coitus - very dude-like

- Liked to drink a lot - very dude-like

- Lots of pictures of her kicking back - very dude-like

- Didn't seem to give much of a fuck about the square community except for zesty coitus with a few (see first characteristic) - very dude-like

- Smoked a J here and there - very dude-like

- Was on the album cover of Sgt. Pepper Lonely Heart - very dude-like

- Born in the laziest county in America, Los Angeles county - very dude-like

- Hung out with people the square community didn't go for such as Truman Capote - very dude-like

- Was always up for a party - very dude-like

- Digged taking extended baths - very dude-like

;D   OK, mang dudes; that's just like more of my opinion, man.

Caesar dude

Can't fault that logic even though it may be a tad skewed! :)

Peace.
Love is like a butterfly it goes where it pleases and it pleases where it goes. :)

Havazhyol

I didn't thought of it that way.

But the way she ended her life... Pretty much undudistic. I mean, she totally blown herself off, man. Very materialistic, not appreciating the moment.

And... huh... well, let's call it a draw, and take a drink, buddy.

Small point of order "Dudette" or any feministation of the word Dude is not the accepted nomenclature.

We have in the past been (wrongfully) accused of sexism.

It was therefore agreed that "Dude" as a title works like doctor, or actor, no sex implied, and anyone is a Dude regardless of genitalia.

Meekon5, I just read your signature. I laughed so hard on it !

I love it, you opened my eyes over the fact that Pr Hawking is a great dude.

Much abide to you, mate.
I'm the Dothradude, Dude.

Perhaps I've not understood but I don't think it would be dudely to be in the background supporting someone else, I would call that homemaker and that's 1950's mentality.
How about someone like mama cass?

He is also rumoured to say to people who approach him on the street "I get confused for him (Steven Hawking) all the time".
