A hazy Sunday morning and I'm sitting here enjoying my coffee with slow tunes humming in the background ("Slow Boat to China" -- there's an abiding song for you).

The wife and I celebrated our anniversary last night with good food and good libations. Tapas, man. Very classy shit. Cured meats, cheeses, fucking empanadas man. It was one of those meals where the food just keeps coming and you wipe up every last drop with bread so you don't lose it.

The cat's on the sofa and my wife's in a seminar all day. That means the day is mine, with little to nothing on the to-do list (I misplaced the damn thing, but it's down there somewhere).

I'm thinking I might just pop in a certain DVD (you know the one), mix a cocktail, and keep it simple.
