Howzabout, if you're an American, supporting Colorado and Washington to keep the feds from going all reactionary on them for legalizing?

Just a thought. Live like you want to live, my dudely brothers.
I'm just gone, man, totally fucking gone.

Yeah well.I'd prefer if they just legalized rum 'cos I don't smoke.
If you believe you can tell me what to think.
I believe I can tell you where to go.

No mention of Colorado and Washington legalizing possession for recreational use and retail sales by licensed, regulated establishments? I don't keep up on Washington because I'm not there, but here in Colorado the state has until (I believe it's January) 2014 to establish appropriate legislation and begin issuing retail sales licenses. Until then non-medical sales are prohibited but it can be freely given from one adult to another, cultivation for personal use is legal, and so on.

Damned right rum is illegal!

Ever since a Christmas "do" in December 1982 when I'd woken up to find a pile of puke underneath my bed!

And later in the day some very awkward conversations followed with my boss (who was a dick) Apparently it's not ok to join in a can can, hug him by the neck and sing into his ear "you are a dick, you are a dick" whilst kicking him in the shins at every opportunity!

I was in the Airforce at the time and he outranked me by several of those ranks. :) I was lucky I was being posted 3 months later...but fucking A those three months were not easy!!! :(

Never touched the evil stuff ever since!

I can soooo relate. I was in the Air Force at the same time and had a boss who was a massive dick, which was quite a feat for one who was dickless. A cow-orker and I decided one fine afternoon to get some mescal and knock a few back after work while ranting off the pent-up hostility... I stopped on the way home to pick up a fifth, and he stopped somewhere else to pick up a fifth. There was supposed to be only one, as dictated by the sanity that would soon enough evaporate in a cloud of ethanol. I woke up on the third day wondering who'd puked on my shoes, then wondering who'd puked on the bathroom wall, then wondering who'd puked in the hallway. I was hung over for another couple of days, and haven't even looked too long at a bottle of Monte Alban ever since.

Last I heard, in the late 90's, the bastard's prized Space Command coffee mug was still hanging upside down from an I-beam high over a control console testifying to the strength and durability of the two part epoxy that was used to affix it to that spot.  ;D

Being in the National Guard, and with other citizen soldiers, my war experience is a bit different. I had awesome leadership, truly quality people I served with. Being in a dry country, Saudi Arabia, one would think we didn't have any booze, so wrong, we had cooks who knew how to make some evil Apple Jack. That stuff tasted like hot bull piss, but it really fucked you up. Got carried away celebrating with my platoon one night, bumped into my sgt as I was dragging my 16 across the desert floor, helmet on backwards and very very drunk. "you okay there S...?" "sure thing sarge". "carry on then soldier"

Had a hang over to beat the band, lucky for me we were hit by a haboob the next morning, even luckier I was in one of the tents that didn't blow over.

I guarantee that those stuffy congressmen would just try it they would have it legalized in a heartbeat  ;D

Watch New England, things are really rolling up here, Maine could go any minute, looking to be first state to legalize through legislation instead of voter referendum. MA is on the edge of it too, along with RI.

Funny thing is the Libertarian bastion of NH is the least likely to go legal, the only state in New England that I sweat having weed in. A middle aged white dude almost can't get arrested for weed in MA, ME or RI, you'd have to work real hard at it.

But yeah, up here in Maine we are not taking this lightly, we were the most pot friendly state until WA and OR. We have medi, with out a registry or id, so the feds can't get a list, and 2.5 ounces is considered personal use and decrimmed. I give it three months, hemp and pot full legal in Maine.
