Because the law on herbal medicine is corrupt, I choose to ignore it. I can still pick plants from the wild and help people.

That's my approach, too. I might worry more about it if it were my livelihood, but I make my money doing other things and practice herbal medicine just because I care. And because I've been a plant listener for as long as I can remember.

I can align myself with organisations that have a more open, freer resonance - such as the American Herbalists Guild who have taken over fom the Europeans as the beacon of grooviness.

I'm not much of a joiner, myself. But I am on Henriette's mailing list.
