Buddhism is pretty cool but it still claims that "the sleep of reason brings forth monsters".
Says that we need to surrender.
I know that in the context of Buddhism is means to surrender to the contemplative or the sound of the river or what have you. But I'm still not comfortable with any ethos that requires us to put our reason on hold.

I need to be consistent.
Let no credo pass unmolested.
