The first time I heard Hotel California on the radio, a few bars into it I turned to my friend and said that I hadn't heard that Joe had an album coming out. Then Henley started singing and I had a WTF moment of major proportion. I can't stand the fucking Eagles, man. Too much whiny shit. But at least Joe could make sure their instrumentals sounded good.

Well. And this is a big well. I like the Eagles. Went to see them at Wembley. But the music I listen to in the car is Tom Lewis. We were both submariners and he is a friend.
