One person I know, who has that simple kind of wisdom said to me "A dude once fell off a horse and killed himself, dudes do that, they shouldn't be on horses; one stupid politician vowed to ban horses but then wondered "who will pull my cart? Guess it ain't best to ban horses!"

Having said that, a friend of mine was saying that news stories such as "Boy, 3, kills himself with gun found in family's car" and "10-Year-Old Shoots Sister & Then Kills Himself" or "Boy shot self with gun that was left out" is proof that all guns should be banned. My answer was..........

Teenagers kill themselves with cars. Should we ban automobiles, take everyone's right to own one because a few teenagers die from the misuse of a car? Again, this stupidity focuses on the object (not the person) as the source of evil, and is completely foolish being the policy of idiots and con artists such as Diane Feinstein (a person who carries a gun).

Cars do not kill people, people in cars using them improperly kill people. Guns do not kill people, people kill other people. Stop people from killing, not guns, if you want to stop the problem. I have never seen a single car kill a person, and I have never seen or heard of a single gun ever killing anyone.

But, it does seem to hold true that people who hold your liberty in their hands (legislators such as Diane Feinstein) do in fact kill liberty and attack freedom. That's something they hope you don't notice until its gone. And when it is gone, and unless you want to take arms to get it back, it's gone.

And I might add...

Media "Quiet" About San Antonio Theater Shooting
Saturday, December 29, 2012 7:16

On Sunday December 17, 2012, 2 days after the CT shooting, a man went to a restaurant in San Antonio to kill his X-girlfriend. After he shot her, most of the people in the restaurant fled next door to a theater. The gunman followed them and entered the theater so he could shoot more people. He started shooting and people in the theater started running and screaming. It's like the Aurora, CO theater story plus a restaurant!

Now aren't you wondering why this isn't a lead story in the national media along with the school shooting?

There was an off duty county deputy at the theater. SHE pulled out her gun and shot the man 4 times before he had a chance to kill anyone. So since this story makes the point that the best thing to stop a bad person with a gun is a good person with a gun, the media is treating it like it never happened.

Only the local media covered it. The city is giving her a medal next week. Just thought you'd like to know.

Speaking of liberty; here is an historic comparison of those who oppose liberty compared to those who acted to preserve it...

I'd argue cars are even more dangerous than guns. Think about it: in order for you to harm me you have to pull out a loaded weapon (or pull then load) and fire. However, you can have a car wreck if you don't notice that black ice or someone hits you causing you to hit another or some as yet not found mechanical error or many other things out of your control.

Ban cars before guns. They kill more and are far more dangerous.

Dudes, I thought bullets killed people? Or is the reason there are so many guns is that you throw them at people? ;)

Car wrecks kill about 30,000 Americans each year. Medical errors kill just shy of 200,000. Maybe we oughta outlaw doctors and nurses?
I'm just gone, man, totally fucking gone.

There's a reason that even if your doctor got his start 40 years ago he's still "practicing medicine."  They never quite get it right; same with lawyers and the law.

The point is to reduce the American public to slaves; one of the first steps is to disarm the American citizen first. It has been said........

"An unarmed person is a subject, an armed person is a citizen."

It also has been said............

US Constitution, Amendment II

"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

...shall NOT be infringed.
