Worlds Smallest Petrol Engine

Scientists have created the smallest petrol engine in the world ( less than a centimeter long not even half an inch ), small enough to power a watch or any small gadget. The mini-motor, which runs for two years on a single squirt of lighter fuel, is set to revolutionize world technology. It generates 700 times more energy than a conventional battery.

It could be used to operate laptops and mobile phones for months doing away with the need for charging. Experts believe it could be phasing out batteries in such items within just six years. The engine, minute enough to be balanced on a fingertip, has been produced by engineers at the University of Birmingham.

Snopes, as always, claims that it's probably bullshit (Snopes claims that just about everything is probably bullshit :o).........

doubts about whether this engine actually exists. Use of the word "petrol" indicates it is not of US origin in this version (since petrol is used in Britain and Australia at least, but "gas" is used in the US

8) But there seems to be some truth to it, check out - http://maximumtorque.blogspot.com/2009/05/smallest-petrol-engine.html

Well it would be petrol if it is made in Birmingham. But who in their right mind would want an infernal combustion engine running constantly in their pocket. How would you cool it,what would you do about the emissions and CO1? Would it need an annual service? To many questions dudes.I'm sticking to my hour glass.
If you believe you can tell me what to think.
I believe I can tell you where to go.
