Love Li Po. There are many great Daoist-influenced Chinese poets.

The book The Importance of Living by Lin Yutang refers to many of them, and is incidentally a wonderful book about abiding and the importance of taking it easy. Highly recommend it

Indeed, Dude, a great book. The only downside to the book (in my humble opinion) is that Lin Yutang is clearly convinced of the greatness of its author.

Very true! Plus it's super dated and thus pretty sexist and reductionist in parts (like Walter, Fuckin Germans...do we need to split hairs here?). On balance though it has some wisdom to impart. Similar to How to be Idle by that English fella whose name escapes me right now...
